Re: Acidcanthus Storage


Ginny, I have grown them in Zone 5 for several years successfully storing them dry once in open air with dirt removed and dusted with fungicide and another again dry in a plastic bag with holes in it (Ziploc vegetable storage bag) containing light mixture of soilless mix and dusted with fungicide.  I have also stored caladium this last way successfully.

Alas, I didn't dig them one year and lost them, but they ARE fragrant and orchid-like and worth growing.
