Thanks for the info Linda. I
forgot to dig them today, but will do so tomorrow. Was busy cutting back
and doing away with the leaves--shredded and put on compost! What do the
rest of you do with cutting back. I usually leave a lot standing for
winter interest, but alas, I have a terrible vole problem and thought that this
year I would do away with such an enticing habitat for those nasty little
creatures. Maybe that will help. I will leave echinacea, some
sunflowers, some sedums, etc. for the birds.
Would be interested in hearing others
thoughts on the subject. And, while you're at it, any ideas on how to deal
safely (I have beloved pets) with voles?
Thanks,
Ginny (Zone 6)
