Karen,
My germination book says this about Adonis p. Start seeds outdoors in
spring or autumn when soil is still cool and a chance of light frost is
still possible. Just cover seeds. Time to germination is listed as
30-120 days. I would think that stratification would decrease the upper
number. The plant requires sun to part shade, and moist sandy soil with a
pH of 6.o-8.0, but tolerates it dryer.
Doesn't like to be disturbed after establishing.
Good luck.
