Re: Propagation of vegetables from cuttings?

     I seem to recall having done cuttings of bell peppers before.  And a
friend of mine claimed success with eggplants.  Both of these are Solanacea
members, and I usually find that Solanacea yield cuttings with relative
ease.  If they have already fruited, as I suspect that they have, they may
prove to be a bit more difficult.  The same methods you might use for
tomatoes should work equaly well with either of these.

    Eggplants are interesting because they apparently have to ripen a fair
amount beyond what I would normally consider sufficient for the table
before they produce viable seed.  This was rather frustrating for me the
first few times I tried to save seed from an eggplant.
