In response to your question about germinating alstroemeria aurantiaca
(peruvian lily).
Sow the seed in early spring (hardy in zone 7 & below) when the soil is
still cool or sow indoors and maintain a temperature n the medium of 55
degrees (may need a heating pad on low). Germination takes 15-20 days.
