I'm sure that someone will have a problem with this, but after dealing
with severe insomnia, I justify it.
In researching the uses of opiates, I found that taking the green pods
and whirling them in a blender with 101 proof rum makes a tincture that
will aid one in sleep without any side effects that I was aware of.  Not
'dopey' sleep, just a good 'tired' sensation.  I used 1 eyedropper full
in a glass of orange juice.  My pint has kept perfectly well on the
kitchen shelf for over 1 1/2 years.
