I was able to keep last Holiday's Poinsettias alive after Christmas. In fact, I
planted them out in my garden where they doubled in size. Now with our first
freeze approaching, I dug them up, potted them and brought them in. They have
looked awful for two days now, nearly wilted out. Now my Mother in Law says you
are supposed top ut them in a dark closet for __ weeks after transplanting them.
I have tried that before with zero luck . Can anybody tell me what to do?

Wichita Kansas, where the chrysanthemums and toad lilies are late, but
beautiful. Lows 30ish, highs 65ish, but weeks without a sprinkle.
