Datura and canna

Hello,
I have a canna lily that has produced lovely black seeds within a large 
pod. The seeds look a lot like coffee beans. My Datura inoxia is also 
producing seed pods (large spiky balls that look like a buckeye kind of).
Does anyone know how I go about planting these seeds for more plants?
