I have a couple of questions, bear with me, this is my first year as a
gardener..
First of all, I am gathering seeds from every plant in my garden. Do
some seeds need to be refrigerated to simulate winter? Is there a
website with information on which seeds might?
Second.. I read that there is no petunia on the market that aren't
hybrid, that means the seeds are useless from the ones I purchased?
Also, can wave petunia seeds be purchased and are these I purchased
hybrid also, so the seeds can't be grown?
Last.. I went to the local greenhouse and noticed something I had never
seen before, the guy had a flat little tray with hundreds of tiny
chambers in it.. I have tried to do some searching and I believe its
called a plug tray, can anyone tell me what its used for, its benefits
over a standard plant cell flat, and how its used? Also is there a way a
person can buy such items? I"m interested in starting massive amounts
of annuals this winter in my greenhouse for a community project and can
use much advice/help.
Thanks
Sue
