Re: winter pansies


winter pansies are regular pansies, available in the fall. they are a cool
weather crop is the reason greenhouses sell them at this time. there is
little blooming at this time, so they will add some color to your garden.
they will bloom until a hard frst gets them (here in mo. zone 5) they may
overwinter if mild and in a protected area,  you can cover them with
evergreen boughs to help protect them  from the winter cold. or if you live
in an area where you do not have cold temperatures like we have here.
