Yes, I wrote my previous garden column on the safety or non-safety of
organic pesticides. I didn't need a lecture. Neem is used for
toothbrushing, so it ought to be as safe as, say, mint-flavored toothpaste.
Mint growers use broadleafed herbicides on their fields, the mint is
harvested and distilled, but the sludge retains herbicidal capabilities.
If a product is found to do three different things, why in hell would I
want to buy three bottles of it? Where's the advantage? Obviously I
disagree with some of your thoughts. Margaret L
