soil tester

Hi All--Can anyone recommend a reliable, inexpensive soil tester?  I'm thinking it would be nice to be able to determine the N-P-K plus the acidity of my soil without the hassle and expense of sending the soil sample off to the Extension Agent.  Any suggestions for the avid home gardener?
