Thanks to all for your comments on the vinca....maybe I will try a small amount,
since this is one of my favorite plants, and it would look so nice if it
works....but I was also thinking of using some liriope. At least according to
my book, it can take all kinds of abuse, and will stay green all winter, though
may get a bit tattered by spring. I had some in my old garden in the shade, and
really like the strap-like leaves. Any other thoughts are most welcome.
