Good Morning! We have a Jackman's Clematis growing and
blooming in the shade of a Willow ( annual rainfall is about 40" per
year ), a poor place for even weeds to grow. The Jackman is a strong
grower so this may be one consideration of which ones you select. Clematis
have a bloom season that should be noted on the pot. In order to get your
Clematis to bloom all season you will need to plant several plants with
staggered sequence of flowering in the same hole. They are quite
comfortable with co-mingled roots and foliage, and will give you a riot of
color all season. Brian,,, Bye!!!
