When I make a new bed I add it to the soil mixture which for me is primarily
Pro-Mix.
For one wheel barrow of soil, I add about one pound of it. (I dont think it
would hurt to use more. It is a very weak fertilizer.) On established plants I
scatter a couple of handfuls around the perimiter of the plant and scratch in
lightly.
