Remarkable hostas aren't they?
Hosta seedlings here (just a handful) are preparing to bloom
after less than six monthes from seed...just found a venusta
seedling (could fit in a coffee mug) with a scape this
morning and near it a seedling from Ran Lydell's PERIDOT
(hyacinthina stock) with a scape. They have gotten water
and fish emulsion and anti-aphid spray and 24 hour lights.
I can already see the lavender color on a flower bud on a
(non streaky) seedling out of Bill Nash's hybridizing-for-streaky line.
Can anyone tell me from experience of the efect of flowering
on seedlings?
