Rosemary--
Clematis paniculata (aka C. maximowicziana aka several other names --they
change it every year), the common Sweet Autumn Clematis, will grow in any
kind of conditions. I trust that you already know that one?? It's a
passalong plant, as it seeds itself prolifically, but nice to have
nonetheless. Don't buy it--someone will be glad to give it to you. Nelly
Moser does passably well in shade. I think in our climate, in fact, just
about any clematis will do fine in part shade.
