Could it be Rue Anemone? Are the leaves indented on the distal end? The
flower on mine is not as large as a quarter. There are some other Anemones
(different genus) that could also fit the bill. I have a Hydrastis, but
the flower is small and the leaves are large and not rounded. I don't know
if my plant is typical, as I know nothing about this genus. Another that
comes to mind is Sanguinaria canadensis, but I can't find a picture to
compare the leaf description.
