Yes Gene, the name 'Grace Ward' does ring a bell. The foliage almost
reminded me of a prostrate rosemary. Very pretty. Hope they hybridize a
hardier one. I wonder if I should be taking cuttings? Did you try?
The other taller one, I shall stay away from! Had my experience with mint
as a ground cover when I first started gardening! Read that they were a
ground cover, but never knew that ground covers were 4 ft tall! and so
rampant!!! Of course, I have come a long way, baby, since then! LOL! STill
pulling some out!
Does anyone here use alliums, such as chives, garlic chives and another flat
leaf 'wider and shorter than garlic chives' (also sold to me as that) but
has lavender half dollar size blooms on it? Nice chunky plants that define
the entrance to paths. That last one is a doer!
Will be purchasing christophii and others again before long! Wonder how
much shade they tolerate?
