Offhand I can not say what you have, but I should have given the botanical
in my first message. The Creeping forget-me-not I was referring to was a
native..... Omphalodes verna. This is another of those genus that deserves
an article sometime in the near future. Lots of good groundcovers with
lovely blooms for the shade garden. Many new hybrids coming on the market
now due to tissue culturing. Clyde was just talking about a new one he
purchased a couple of weeks ago.
There are quite a few plants whose blooms resemble forget me nots and use
the name. One popular plant it the Heart Leaf Forget Me Not which is also
known as the Heart Leaf Anklet. Brunnera macrophylla. Then there is the
true Forget me Not and there are sever species and hybrids of that one.
