Re: Clintonia uniforma

Hello Pete,
I have not seen your species listed in a catalog. I do have a couple of
C. umbellulata, or speckled Wood Lily left this year. I was able to obtain
fresh seeds of C. borealis last fall and have some germinate this year...
very slow growers. C. uniforma, Bride's Bonnet, is usually rated as zone 6
plant. I have not tried it in my garden, perhaps you have a different
experience. None of which actually answers your question, but would you
settle for any other species?
