[PRIMROSES] Shadey Beds


Hi All, We did landscaping for many years, building beds under established
trees when we had too. We always left an area around the trunk at ground
level, as some trees even resent grass growing right up to the trunk. If you
value your trees you are safer in building your beds so that you have 10 to
12 inches away from trunk, you can achieve this with rocks, and edgings of
different styles. You will find that your plants will grow and cover the
space between them and the tree...making the space inconspicuous. Cyn
