I don't;however, many shade plants, particularly hostas respond well to the
use of acidifiers in my Indianapolis garden--soil is alkaline(basic.) And
aspirin is a pure form of an acid as I recall.
I fertilize all of my shade garden with Miracid--and do so often--every two
weeks during the growing season, until late September.
