Re: adonis/ now Primula

A strange late winter, indeed. My Adonis is only showing a single bud above
the mulch and will not open for a few more days and I am further south than you.
A single Primula vulgaris in a deep purple-blue opened yesterday.. grand total of
two blooms. Won't be long now before they all begin to pop. P. veris, julianas,
vulgaris, sieboldii. Do not know why more gardeners do not use primula. You can
have blooms from February through June, foliage all year, and they are easy to
grow.
