Hello Susan,
    In my experience with P. David Ward I find that it is more difficult that
others grown. In fact, I managed to kill three mature plants over a period of two
years. It is a nice plant in looks, but there are others out there with same color
combinations about the same size, without the temperamental part.
    Just my opinion.
