I usually just let the seed head from the "Jacks" fall where they will and Mother Nature sends up a bizillion babies. I have no idea how they little bulbs eventually get so deep in the ground as I do not bury them, although I have burried a the seed heads on occasion. These are tough cookies and so smart looking when they bloom. Forres in 5a Iowa
