Margaret,
That's what I've thought. Unfortunately I don't have a hose there; all
watering is by watering can and the little buggers seem to like that. I do
pinch, but the leaves on some seedlings are so fragile it's hard to do that
without damage...thanks for the thoughts, I wish I had a hose for more
reasons than just aphids!

Have you used the horticultural oil on lilies? I've had success with it on
woolly algids on hemlocks, but haven't tried it on anything else. If it's
safe for lilies, I'll give it a try....thanks.
Sherryl & Amber...thanks for your tips, too. They sound good for other
things if not for lily seedlings and I'm gonna give them a try. Have
aphids on lots of plants as they start waking up with the longer days and
putting out new growth...sigh...
