Oh, thank you!! I couldn't agree more -- sometimes I feel isolated in a
variegated-loving world. ;-) Anyway, plain old natural-colored Lysimachia
nummularia is a nice little moisture-loving groundcover that has yellow star-
like flowers. Prefers a little more sun, though, than is traditionally
considered "shade," but then, of course, there are all sorts of mints --
Pennyroyal, for instance -- that would have the same appearance and growth
habit.
