Hi Pottsey,
I have several raised beds made with pressure treated 2 by 8's and 4x4
posts in each corner. The posts go a couple feet into the ground. I
have also used landscape timbers in place of the 2x8, but sometimes they
tend to warp. The soil I used is almost 100% composted cow manure...I
live on a farm, so it is plentiful :)
