Favorite combinations

One of my favorite combinations occurred by accident.  I planted
Ophiopogon 'Silver Shield' with Christmas ferns and lots of rocks there
naturally.  I was planting for the blue phlox in the spring but last
winter I had found that the silver Ophiopogan had skipped all over the
area coming up in the green Christmas ferns and next to the lichen
covered rocks.  It is so pretty in the winter season that I have bought
more of the Silver Sheild to try to dupicate the effect of the Silver
Shield romping in other dark spots.  Lately every day is cloudy and dark
so this will  brightened up the woodland.
