Re: ninebark "Diabolo"
Hello Lynn,
Went through the same thing late this summer. We purchased 3 of the Ninebark
"Diabolo" in 3 gallon size and 3 of the gold leaf form. Never have I received so
much conflicting information, so much "well, ..... I suppose....., maybe.... it
all depends"
We used them in landscaping around the house and potting shed. In both
positions they are where they will receive as much light as possible without
sitting in full sun. If planted in full sun in this area I feel they are going to
need extra moisture... but that is my uneducated guess from all I heard about this
shrub. I am told that once you get it established it takes an atom bomb to get it
back out. Hopefully we will get most of the leaf color, if not all. We shall see.
