Re: [PRIMROSES] Scale Insect on cactus


Assuming mealy bugs: They can be treated with hot water.
Use a very accurate thermometer and run water at 125 degrees Fahrenheit
then submerse the plant pot and all in a bucket for 5 minutes. Keep the
temperature up to 125F but not over.
Do this every 4 days 4 different times. I've done this with African
Violets, succulents and hosta.
They are persistent so you may need to do it again.
