Re: [SHADEGARDENS] Welcome

Hi Sherryl,
Thanks for the welcome. I am a regular member of the garden list, but need
some help with the north side of my yard. I live in Boulder Colorado, zone
5, and am planning a garden under a silver maple, behind a fence.

I started several hostas last year and some daylillies too. One of my
newest favorites is an acrum italicum (sp?) that seems to stay green even
under the snow. I think I will be ordering another of those.

We have been in our house for 19 years so most of the yard is fairly well
established except lately I have been changing things around quite a bit.
I have a vegie garden, flowers, compost heap, roses, and a very sunny raise
bed in the front.

I am curious about the St.Johns in the email address, where is that from?
Again thanks for the welcome. I look forward to learning a bunch here, and
getting my new area planned out and planted this spring.

Jane
