[SHADEGARDENS] Service Prospects

Dear ShadeGardeners,
First, let me say how delighted I am with the civility, class and culture
of the members of this group.
The direction and initial modus make sense. The shadows behind the screen
obviously are gifted.
As someone who has made but one bet and won at 66-1 odds (Grand National,
Aintree racetrack), I hesitate to forcast or bet again - especially since
I'm ahead. Yet, we all would be a bit blessed if this group gets
"discovered" and grows to a critical mass that would enable it to "turn on"
more people to the potential of culture and joy gained in shade gardening.
The group should be encouraged to advise the leadership in "general" terms
just what they're looking for and perhaps indicate how to measure the
service rendered by the group.

I wish you all much joy in getting to know your plants.
