Mark - I asked the same quesstion last yeaar and Gene was good enough to
answer and he'll probably speak up this time also. The news is not good!
Following his suggesstion i removed all infected plants. Luckily I had
several areas with Jacks and only one had been infected for two years and
haad not spread. I had several late developing jacks come up in the
area after removing the russty first ones, these later Jacks did not seem
to have aproblem. I wondered at the time if this rust has a seasonal or
time factor. I'm anxious to see what develops in this area this spring.
