I believe it is in my merchant credit card agreement that I may not charge a
customer until I ship. Anything else is illegal. I would not do it in any case...
too many things can change when there is a long period of time between receipt of
order and actual shipping. Creates more problems than it is worth.
Checks do get deposited when they come in, whatever the shipping date. On the
other hand, I ship very often long before other checks have cleared the bank......
Have yet to be disappointed.
