I use any commercial slug bait. Since I have a dog, I put out the bait
carefully. I get a cheap, plastic pot and cut notches in the edge so that it
looks like a table. I put the pellets down and secure the pot over the bait.
The slots let the slugs in and discourage the dog who is a tiny thing and
not too interested in what she believes are just plastic pots.
