Hi.
I started a new flower bed a few weeks ago. Every thing I have planted has
wilted and died! This area is part shade. So far I have lost, Heliotropium
Arborescens-
Heliotrope, Impatiens, Petunias- only lasted 2 days!!! I have some Cladium,
that is sorta hanging on. I always thought cosmos were very hardy, they are
even struggling. So, I'm looking for very drought tolerant flowers for my new
bed.
Any suggestions, welcome!
The kick to all this is, I have an area under a big oak tree, where I planted
Viola-Wittrockiana- Pansy. I did this last fall and the pansy's are doing
great! I had always thought this annual liked a cool season. I planted
'Crystal Bowl' and
'Rally'. How these plants are surviving our temps, blows my mind. Nothing else
is happy with this weather, including me!!
