Hi Bobbi
        The clump I found was if I remember right in full sun up the bank and
possibly even quite aways from a stream. It is not common in east
central and northeast Iowa. I watch for different wild flowers and this
is the only one I have ever seen. Probably will stumble on some
tomorrow.
