Kay,
I too had heard that C. montana was very fragrant, but they must be really
variable in the amount of fragrance they have. My montana is ~5 yrs old.
It's huge and blooms heavily every spring. Hardly any fragrance, though,
which was a bit of a disappointment. If you stick your nose right into a
flower you can detect a light fragrance of honey, but no more.
