Hello Claire,
    Thanks for the information. I was not 100% sure of the ID on the gift
Caryopteris in my garden so did not want to propagate it for the nursery.
So, I ordered the old standby Longwood Blue and Worchester Gold wholesale
for the nursery. These I can be sure of the ID and sell... also compare and
place samples in my garden. From then on out I can take cuttings here and
not have to order. Caryopteris blooms in about two weeks from now in my
garden.
    Hot and dry here as well. No end seems to be in sight. Watering the
nursery every third day. Garden was watered last week and now due once more.
