And another note, Garden Guy ..Neighbors planted (deliberately, can you
believe it?) three silver maples on the property line, upwind of me. Now,
several years later, I spend a good deal of time going around the garden
pulling up hundreds of seedlings. Shade, sun, they don't seem to care, and
if they get a years growth on them you just about have to dig them out.
Same with Box Elder.
So, the key is constant vigilance!
