Re: heucheras

Several years ago I first saw and was wowed by Heuchera 'White Marble'. It
has green leaves with white streaks, and the fls are large, white with
touches of pink. They are really showy. Apparently this is no longer in
commerce--why??? I did manage to obtain a plant of it and it is quite
trouble free and spectacular in bloom. Raspberry Regal sounds like a good
one, too. I'll look for it. We should all encourage the breeders to work
on producing heucheras with showy flowers as well as leaves. In the
meantime, I'll concentrate on tiarellas. Now THERE is a showy flower, and
long lasting too.

several out there now that have both foliage and flowers. The Raspberry
Regal I mentioned earlier is one example. Bright green silver mottled
foliage and blooms in pink, cream and raspberry.
