There's a couple of Corydalises that bloom all summer into fall --
Corydalis ochroleuca (creamy white flowers) and Corydalis lutea (yellow
flowers). Campanula carpatica will bloom for most of the summer, if it's
kept deadheaded. Finally, blue star creeper blooms all summer. It is a
creeper, only an inch high, with light blue flowers with a darker blue
accent. It has the greatest number of scientific names I've ever seen --
Pratia pedunculata, Lobelia pedunculata, Isotoma fluviatilis, and Laurentia
fluviatilis. Some authorities say it's hardy only to zone 7, but I have no
trouble in zone 6, and sources I trust say it's hardy in zone 5.
