Do Heucheras propagate themselves & how??

Do Heucheras propagate themselves & how??

I just purchased a Heuchera micrantha called Palace Purple. Can someone tell
me how, or refer me to a site that explains just how they're propagated? I
want to know all I can about them = they are so beautiful. I am just
wondering if it won't be too hot here in the New Orleans area for them. I
don't seem to have much success with Hostas.
