Hi Clyde: I've heard of the list but do not join because I am on a gov.
computer. I will send email out but don't feel it's right to use it for
listservers. If I ever get my computer at home online then I'll get back
to you. Thanks for the offer. I do grow about 10 different Hostas. I
also grow a lot of daylilies and my newest passion are hardy geraniums
(at least 15 different types). I have a question for you or maybe you
can post it to the list. Have you ever heard of termites eating LIVE
plants. I've encountered this on more than one occasion. Some gladiolus
bulbs were destroyed and an"Anne Folkard" geranium is in danger of
succumbing to the critters. I've since transplanted it, while cleaning
the roots. If they aren't termites then what else could they be. They
look identical. I'm confused. Any advice would be of help. I may just
treat the whole area with Dursban.
                                                Thanks Clyde, sincerely Charlie Murphy
