Re: [SG] Japanese Painted Fern

Bobbi and all,

Yes they are easy to grow. In my old garden they graced a rock wall in with
the native ferns, astilbe, cornus canadensis and hardy fuchsias. One major
problem I have this year in my new gardens (new home) is the *@/*^&#*!
slugs ate the three new ones to the ground. Never had a problem with the
slugs eating them before. OH Well! Will try again when it dries out and the
slugs are sleeping. At least get them established before the slugs appear
again. Other than that they grew quite well and are beautiful.
