Re: [SG] Animals and Hosta's

When I joined this list, I had never heard of 'Hosta' flowers, so they
intrigued me and I got three. Mine seemed to be in a dormant period. I was
going to ask all you experts out there, what to do. I don't have to now, they
are gone!!! What sort of animal eats these??? There is nothing but holes in
the ground now:( There is plenty of other plants for them (animal or whatever
took them) to eat out there,
why the Hosta's? So, I called around today, everybody I talked to said the
time to get a Hosta plant is in early spring. I will have to wait to next
year. I thought I would share my sadness with ya'll.
