Re the Arisaema candidissima, I acquired 2 plants last year that were of
flowering size and planted both in different garden explosures. One
location well protected and other in the open near my Dawn Redwood. Both
overwintered fine with no special care or mulching and the plant in full
protection is blooming. I'm considered Zone 5b by Canadian Zone Maps and
Zone 4 by USDA Zone maps. I think it's hardier than its given credit for.
