Hi Bobbi,
        I still hold with my original suggestion in my first message to you. I
would move the plant to the shady position with the rich loam. you are not
going to kill the plant and it can only benefit. Certainly is not
performing according to standards where it is located now.
        C. racemosa are blooming in my garden in a clump I planted at least 7 or 8
years ago and quite lovely. With all the rain we have been having they are
in excellent shape foliage and blooms. The nursery display rows were
looking great but had a garden club meeting here last week and all in bloom
but one are now gone. Still many more left and more species for later in
the year to please the eye both in my nursery and my garden.
